    Woman in Wheelchair Hit By Truck in Lynn

    The driver stopped after hitting a 67-year-old female, but he was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

    Authorities are investigating after a woman in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a pickup truck in Lynn, Massachusetts.

    The 67-year-old woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, state police said.

    The crash happened at 2:45 p.m. Thursday on the Lynnway in the area of Shepard Street.

    The pickup truck driver, who has been identified as Reginaldo Perez Zacarias, 26, of Lynn, stopped after the crash. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Lynn District. State police did not immediately say what the warrant was for.

    Zacarias will be summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
