A 53-year-old man suffered broken bones after he was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Worcester, Massachusetts while trying to cross the street.
Police said they received a call about a pedestrian hit-and-run at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday and responded to Orient and Plantation streets.
There, they found a man with serious injuries. An investigation determined the pedestrian was trying to cross Orient Street when he was hit by a car traveling at a high rate of speed.
Officials said the victim is expected to survive.
