Greenway Seeking Proposals for Second Pop-Up Bar

The nonprofit that runs the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston is asking for applications for a second pop-up bar this year following the success of the first last summer.

Applications for the bar to debut at Dewey Square Park opened Friday.

"We hope to find concepts that are mobile, fun, distinctive, and will bring a unique, approachable, and invigorating vibe to our space," said The Greenway on the application site.

The Greenway said they are looking for candidates that can bring innovation and experience. The chosen bar for 2018 could have a continued partnership with The Greenway if the 2018 pilot is successful.

The Rose Kennedy Greenway has been hosting the Boston Calling Block Parties at Dewey Square Park for the past four years, catering to an after-work crowd.

Trillium Garden, which opened in the Wharf District last year, will return to its High Street location later this year.

Boston Calling Block Parties will also make a return.
