Connecticut Still Cleaning Up After Severe Storms

(NECN/WTNH: Kent Pierce, Bristol, Conn.) - Parts of Connecticut were still cleaning up Thursday after Wednesday's severe storms.

The winds moving through Bristol were phenomenal, knocking over trees and power lines. Power was still out on Wednesday in parts of Bristol, Plainville and Southington.

Restaurants and machine shops without power are missing out on business due to the power outages.

There were questions that a funnel cloud or tornado may have hit the area, but National Weather Service officials would need to investigate and confirm that.
