Does It Work? Tom Menino Tests Black Out Security Stamp

(NECN: Leslie Gaydos) - After 20 years on the job, former Boston Mayor Tom Menino must know a lot of confidential information.

There may be an option to shredding those important papers: Home Smart's Black Out, a pre-inked security stamp that's supposed to quickly and easily block your information in a fraction of the time and cost to help stop identity theft.

We grabbed some paper work and decided to stamp out the mayor's name and address.
