Raw Video: Flooding Takes Over Mall in Warwick, Rhode Island

(NECN: Warwick, RI) - Rhode Island residents are being asked to
limit their water and electricity usage, as the flooding has
knocked out sewer and power infrastructure across the state.

Officials in Warwick and Cranston in particular are asking
people not to flush toilets unless absolutely necessary, do laundry
or do anything else that would cause water to go into the sewage
system.

National Grid has asked people statewide to conserve energy
because of substation problems that have knocked out power in the
Westerly area.

Roads around the state are swamped, and Interstate 95 is closed
in Warwick. State police say traffic backups are particularly bad
in the Warwick area.
