Two Tricky Fires, Major Flooding in Scituate, Mass.

(NECN: Tom Langford, Scituate, Mass.) - A state of emergency has been declared in coastal Scituate, where several seaside homes were flooded overnight and two later caught fire.

No injuries have been reported. The fire chief says crews have been working tirelessly.

A local shelter has been set up at the town's high school for anyone seeking food and/or warmth.

The flooding occurred overnight at high tide as waves poured over a seawall and the blizzard pounded in.
