    With marijuana sales set to begin in Massachusetts in a couple of weeks, a state commission will meet Wednesday to discuss the issue of people driving under the influence.

    With marijuana sales set to begin in Massachusetts in a couple of weeks, a state commission will meet Wednesday to discuss the issue of people driving under the influence.

    The 13-member Cannabis Control Commission will meet at the Arlington police station to where they will make a recommendation to keep drivers from operating under the influence of marijuana, as well as develop a method for testing them.

    The commission will also consider the legal and social ramifications of testing, which was not part of the original ballot question that voters approved to legalize marijuana. It was later added by lawmakers.

    The commission is required to have its recommendations for lawmakers ready by the first of next year.
