There are four candidates running for lieutenant governor in Massachusetts - a job that's been vacant since Tim Murray resigned in June 2013.
Republican candidate Karyn Polito, Charlie Baker's running mate, says she'd like to see more women run for office and be elected.
She says Baker picked her to run alongside him because of her small business experience.
"I understand that business owners and women in business have. I've served in government at the local level and in the state legislature," she said. "So it's more than just being a mom and being all-woman. It's about someone with experience that's lived in Massachusetts, that loves this Commonwealth, that wants to move forward and make a difference."
