A new CNN/ORC poll released Thursday has Democrat Jeanne Shaheen in a virtual tie with Republican opponent Scott Brown in the New Hampshire Senate race.
The poll has Shaheen at 49 percent, and Brown at 47 percent. The margin of error is 4 percent.
A New England College poll released Wednesday had Brown leading Shaheen by less than 1 percent, 47.7 percent to 47.3 percent. A Boston Herald/Suffolk University poll released Monday had Shaheen leading Brown 49 percent to 46 percent.
Shaheen and Brown faced off on Tuesday in the first of three televised debates. The debate was sponsored by NECN, the Concord Monitor and the University of New Hampshire.
The two candidates are scheduled to debate again Thursday night, and one more time on Thursday, Oct. 30.
