John Connolly Calls on Walsh to Join Him in ‘People's Pledge'

(NECN) - In the race for Boston City Hall, John Connolly is calling for a people's pledge.

In an announcement Thursday, Connolly said he's asking Marty Walsh to join him in  "keeping outside special interest money out of the final election."

There is no comment yet from Walsh's campaign, but during the lead-up to the preliminary election, Walsh called the people's pledge "a political gimmick."
