Kerry Nomination Hearing Set for Jan. 24

(NECN) – Mass. Sen. John Kerry has his big job interview starting a week from Thursday -- Jan. 24.

That’s when the Senate foreign relations committee will hold a hearing on his nomination as the next Secretary of State.

Kerry, the Democratic senior U.S. Senator from Mass., is currently the chairman of that same committee.

His hearing will come a day after current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testifies about that deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya.
