(NECN) - Boston mayor Thomas M. Menino says he's fine after a near-fall at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday.
Menino cut the ribbon to celebrate the official opening of Hearth at Olmstead Green, which will provide 59 units of affordable housing for homeless elders.
Hearth, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness among the elderly.
It's been a tough week for the Boston mayor, who misidentified Boston Celtics players in comments about the team's playoff victory against the Miami Heat, but today was joking about the matter as a "Meninoism."
