It's primary night for three states in New England: Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
In Massachusetts, the top state wide primary races are for governor and attorney general, although there are Democratic primaries for treasurer and lieutenant governor. There's also a closely watched contest for the Democratic nomination in the Bay State's 6th Congressional District, where incumbent John Tierney is hoping to keep his seat.
Meanwhile, many are keeping a close eye on the Republican primary races for governor and U.S. Senate in New Hampshire. There are also primaries for New Hampshire's 1st and 2nd Congressional Districts, where the winner will face Democrats Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster, respectively.
Rhode Island's top Democratic and Republican primary races are for governor, where incumbent Governor Lincoln Chafee is not seeking a second term; there's also primary races for lieutenant governor.
