Patriots Employees Reinstated After Deflategate Suspensions

Two Patriots employees accused of deflating footballs used in last season's AFC Championship Game have been reinstated, a league spokesperson confirmed.

Equipment assistant John Jastremski and locker room attendant Jim McNally became household names when they were tabbed in the Wells Report, with a string of texts between the pair drawing particular attention.

Jastremski and McNally had been suspended since after the report's release in May. Following the overturning of Tom Brady's four-game suspension in federal court, the Patriots requested their reinstatement.

"The Patriots have satisfied the league's requirements for reinstatement and the league has granted permission for the employees to return," an NFL spokesperson said in a statement.
