For the second time in just a matter of months, Boston aims to emerge victorious in another championship vs Los Angeles.
The Red Sox, who beat the L.A. Dodgers in the World Series, started Super Bowl Sunday off with the perfect "Beat L.A." tweet:
A little #BeatLA inspo to start your day. pic.twitter.com/6Q0tXR0CPo — Boston Red Sox (@RedSox) February 3, 2019
Sox manager Alex Cora followed suit:
U.S. & World
Wishing the @Patriots and Mr. Belichick a great #SuperBowlLIII. #DoDamagePartDos pic.twitter.com/0iiP0UgMlH — Alex (@ac13alex) February 3, 2019
World Series MVP Steve Pearce and postseason hero David Price chimed in with "Beat L.A. again" messages:
Let's Go @Patriots #BeatLA_again — Steve Pearce (@Late25Lightning) February 3, 2019
#beatLA...again #cityofchampions — David Price (@DAVIDprice24) February 3, 2019
Cora said Saturday he wouldn't mind flying to Atlanta to give the Patriots a pep talk before the game, but it looks like he had to settle for Twitter. Either way, Cora and the Red Sox once again will be rooting hard for a championship victory over Los Angeles on Sunday night.
