Tom Brady Misses Patriots Practice With Achilles Issue

Tom Brady missed practice Wednesday with an Achilles injury, the Patriots confirmed.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com was told Brady will be "fine," he tweeted. The team did not comment publicly on the severity of the injury, but Brady played a full game Sunday, completing 30 of 37 pass attempts for 339 yards and three touchdowns as New England beat the Oakland Raiders 33-8.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Chris Hogan were also out. Gronk had an unspecified illness and Hogan was out with a shoulder injury. Tackle Marcus Cannon and safety Patrick Chung both missed practice with ankle injuries.

Wide receivers Danny Amendola and Matthew Slater, as well as tight end Martellus Bennett, were listed as having limited participation in practice.
