University of New Hampshire to Offer “Deflategate” course

The NFL scandal known as "Deflategate" will be the subject of an undergraduate course at the University of New Hampshire.

UNH sports law professor Michael McCann has designed the four-credit class for the fall term.

The course description says it will be about "the interplay between those footballs ... and the legal, regulatory and journalistic systems governing sports."

The New England Patriots were caught using underinflated footballs in January's AFC title game. A report this this week found sufficient evidence that the team violated NFL rules. Quarterback Tom Brady was found to be "at least generally aware" of the improprieties.
