(NECN) - After months of posturing, intense negotiations, and keeping fans in limbo, both NFL players and owners reached a compromise this morning essentially bringing an end to the lockout.
NFL executive committee meets today and will hand down papers to players/play reps and its expected to get final approval.
According to people familiar with the negotiations, owners and players agreed early today to the terms of a deal to end the lockout that began in March. Players are expected to begin the voting process later today.
