A new NBA scoring king took the crown in 2023.

The title went from one Los Angeles Laker to another, as LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in February to become the league’s all-time leader in points.

James showed in Year 20 that he is still going strong, so he will add some distance between himself and the rest of the pack before he retires.
