Hightower on “Deflategate”: “It Is What It Is”

New England Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower spoke out Saturday against allegations that his team used under-inflated balls in the first half of the AFC Championship.

New England Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower spoke out Saturday against allegations that his team used under-inflated balls in the first half of the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

"I'm not worried about that," Hightower said. "It is what it is."

On Friday, the NFL confirmed the "Deflategate" suspicions and has since conducted at least 40 interviews. They say that their investigation is on-going.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has denied altering the ball "in any way," saying that he would never break the rules. Coach Bill Belichick said he had "no explanation" for what happened, and like Brady said the first he heard of the entire ordeal was on Monday morning.

The Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, Feb. 1.
