Jacoby Brissett Injures Thumb

The New England Patriots may have lost another quarterback.

Jacoby Brissett injured his thumb in Thursday night's game against the Houston Texans, sources confirm to Mike Giardi of Comcast SportsNet New England.

The injury happened during the second half of the game. WEEI had reported that he tore a ligament, but the sources who spoke with CSNNE did not confirm the nature of the injury.

According to the sources, the injury is being considered minor and Brissett will not require surgery.
