Tom Brady and The New England Patriots will return to the field for the season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium Thursday night.

If you're headed down to the game, there are some strict security policies in place. All guests, including children, must consent to a search of their person and anything they are carrying. Failure to do so will result in denial of entry into the stadium. Metal detectors will be located at all stadium gates.

Bags of any kind, except gallon sized clear freezer bags or NFL authorized clear bags measuring 12" x 12" x 6" and women's clutches not to exceeding 7" x 4" x 2".

Cameras are still allowed, but all video cameras are prohibited.

The Patriots' fourth Super Bowl banner will also be unveiled Thursday night in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the focus of the Patriots fans' anger during the "Deflategate" investigation, will skip the opener.

A federal judge last week lifted Tom Brady's four-game suspension after concluding the NFL had failed to properly follow the terms of its contract with players in handling the controversy.
