Who Did the Patriots Pick in the NFL Draft?

They selected defensive tackle Malcom Brown of Texas

Despite rumors that they might trade out of the first round of the NFL Draft, the New England Patriots stayed put on Thursday night, drafting Texas defensive tackle Malcom Brown with the 32nd pick.

Brown could be a replacement for fan favorite Vince Wilfork, who signed with the Houston Texans after being released. Brown wasn't supposed to be around by the time the Patriots picked, but when he slipped, they were quick to scoop him up.

Rounds 2-3 of the draft will be held on Friday beginning at 7 p.m., and rounds 4-7 start at noon on Saturday.
