Audrey Asistio is an anchor/reporter for NBC Boston and necn.
She came to NBC from KOVR/KMAX in Sacramento, where she was co-anchor for the morning and noon shows. In Northern California, Audrey navigated her viewers through numerous live breaking news events happening across the U.S., including the bombings at the Boston Marathon and the stabbing of Spencer Stone, a U.S. airman who was hailed a hero for helping thwart an attack on a Paris-bound train.
Prior to that, Audrey was a reporter/anchor at KSEE in Fresno, California and KHSL/KNVN in Chico, California. She also worked as a multimedia journalist at KIMA in Yakima, Washington.
She attended San Francisco State University, majoring in Radio & Television with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. She grew up in the Bay Area.
Audrey and her husband are the parents to a hyper, sassy 2-year-old girl. They have fallen in love with New England and are grateful to call Boston home.
