Audrey Asistio currently serves as an anchor/reporter for NBC10 Boston and necn.

Since joining the team in August 2016, Audrey has covered a number of New England’s biggest stories from the anchor desk, including the double murder trial and suicide of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez and the college admissions bribery scheme in which dozens of wealthy parents are accused of cheating their kids’ way into elite universities across the country.

She was the only Boston reporter in New York City to provide New Englanders live coverage of the 2017 Halloween Day terrorist attack just moments after it happened. Audrey also spent an entire month in PyeongChang, South Korea, covering the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Prior to NBC10 Boston, Audrey worked as a morning and noon co-anchor for KOVR, the CBS O&O in Sacramento, for more than three years. In Northern California, Audrey navigated her viewers through numerous live breaking news events happening across the U.S., including the Boston Marathon bombings and the stabbing of Spencer Stone, a U.S. airman who was hailed a hero for helping thwart an attack on a Paris-bound train. She also worked at stations in Fresno, California, Chico, California, and Yakima, Washington.

A Bay Area native, Audrey attended San Francisco State University, majoring in Radio & Television with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.

Audrey, her husband and their two children are grateful to call Boston home.
