Denise Isaac

Meteorologist

Denise Isaac is a bilingual meteorologist born and raised in Panama who has always been obsessed with the weather, especially with thunderstorms and hurricanes.

That's why she decided to head to Florida State University, where she graduated with a degree in meteorology that then took her to Washington, D.C. to work with the local Telemundo station.

Two years later, she ended up in the wilds of Minnesota as a producer and reporter for WeatherNation.

In 2010, Denise accepted a job at the number one station in Miami, Telemundo WSCV, where she was the lead morning meteorologist for the market and the national show Un Nuevo Dia. She juggled those duties with weather assignments on WTVJ, Miami’s NBC affiliate.

After six years in South Florida, WXYZ channel 7 Detroit offered her a job as their 4 and 7 p.m. meteorologist, so she jumped on the bandwagon and headed north to the Great Lakes region to forecast snow and cold weather.

Denise enjoys playing sports, being adventurous, watching football and rooting on the Seminoles with her hubby and newborn baby girl.
