    Katelyn Flint is a morning reporter on NBC10 Boston and weekend anchor for necn.

    She has covered many major stories impacting Massachusetts and New England, including the Boston Marathon bombings and the international search for the identity of "Baby Doe" that later became the murder investigation into the death of Bella Bond.

    She also covered the breaking developments in the murder case of Princeton jogger Vanessa Marcotte and the search for her killer. She later worked to highlight the establishment of the Marcotte Foundation which empowers youth and aims to break the cycle of violence.

    Katelyn has contributed to the coverage of high profile trials including Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez. She also covered national headlines including local Dr. Rick Sacra’s return to the U.S. after contracting Ebola. Soon after, she sat down one-on-one with the doctor to share his story of recovery and his determination to continue his work in West Africa.

    Born and raised in Central Massachusetts, she has close ties to the community she reports for, giving her a strong understanding of the stories that matter most to people. Whether in a courtroom, at breaking news, or enterprising innovative stories, she is always looking to deliver thoughtful, thorough and impactful information to her viewers.

    Katelyn is a graduate of Boston University. Before joining NBC10 Boston and necn, she worked as a reporter and anchor in Worcester. She also spent several years working in entertainment news while living in Los Angeles.
