A local librarian suggests books that can help children -- and adults -- understand racism

With protests erupting across the nation in the wake of the death of George Floyd, parents have the opportunity to start important conversations with children about racism.

Books for children and teenagers are a great way to start the conversation, says India Winslow, a librarian at Cary Memorial Library in Lexington, Mass.
