Republican Gov. Brian Kemp celebrated his victory over Democrat Stacey Abrams Tuesday night. “Across the country tonight, we took the first step in saving America,” Kemp said.

NBC News has projected Republican incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp as the winner in Georgia’s gubernatorial race, once again beating Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams.

Both Abrams and Kemp are already talking about what they need to do to mobilize voters after primaries that drew heavy turnout.
