A 12-year-old Hyde Park boy says his 13-year-old friend was shot three times in the legs, as they walked home from the bus stop after playing basketball just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night.

A 13-year-old male was reportedly shot three times in the legs overnight in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood. Boston police said the teenager walked into a local hospital after being shot around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday on Wood Avenue. He is expected to survive.
