Retired Truck Driver Charged With Murder of Woman Found in California Nearly 30 Years Ago
A longtime retired truck driver, Douglas Thomas, was charged with the 1993 murder of Sherri Herrera by the Riverside County District Attorney’s office. He was currently in custody in Texas awaiting prosecution in another woman’s 1992 slaying.
