A dump truck spilled asphalt on Route 2A in Shirley during a crash on Tuesday morning, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. MassDOT reported the crash at 8:10 a.m., saying that the eastbound side of the road was closed. Traffic was getting by on the westbound side of the road.
