Union workers went on strike at midnight at Sysco Boston, the largest food service distributor in New England. The strike comes from a new contract dispute, workers saying the company took away their high quality union health insurance, their union pension, and offered a low wage increase.
More than 4,000 workers went on strike against one of the Navy’s largest shipbuilders Monday after rejecting a three-year contract.
