Snow This Week Maybe Sign of Winter Pattern

This is a real forecast for the week ahead. The map is simplified for ease of use. (we omitted the storm that soaked Texas and brought tornadoes to Mississippi over the weekend)
Snow plows may be deployed from Montana to Minnesota, and especially in Ontario. Record cold is possible in the plains. If this pattern holds for the winter, we will not have too much snow in the Big Cites of Interstate 95 from Washington DC to Portland Maine. This is part 1 of a 4 part winter forecast to be issued through the month of October.
