Some Snow for Southern New England, Fairly Minor Event

Though the incoming snow Tuesday through Tuesday night will be fairly minor, total accumulations may touch three inches in a few spots, particularly from the higher terrain of Eastern Connecticut into Northern Rhode Island, and perhaps in some communities near the South Coast of New England, mostly west of Narragansett Bay.  For the rest of us, snow will be hard pressed to fall as anything more significant than flurries in all of Northern and Central New England, with generally a coating to an inch for the rest of Southern New England.  See accumulation map, here, and video below for forecast explanation.  Those who are attentive to detail will notice a slight expansion in the 2" area on the map below from the one in the video - this area was expanded just after the video forecast was recorded.
