The arctic front responsible for snow showers and squalls is moving offshore, with clearing and frigid weather overnight and Saturday morning.
Wind chill advisories are in effect for central and northern New England where temperatures are falling below zero with wind gusting 20-30 mph, dropping the chill value to -20 to -30.
High pressure is here for our Saturday, with decreasing wind and sunshine. Afternoon highs of 5-15 north, and 15-25 south. Wind from the northwest diminishing to 10-20 mph in the afternoon.
A warm front spreads clouds into New England Sunday with rain developing in from southwest to northeast during the afternoon and evening. High Sunday in the 30s north to 40s south. Rain is heavy at times Sunday night, with rain changing to snow from west to east before ending.
The mountains of Vermont, Northern New Hampshire and western Maine may get 10-20" of snow by early Monday. Lower elevations and most of southern New England and south Maine get 1-2" of rainfall, possibly ending as snow.
The Patriots-Colts game looks rainy with temperatures in the 40s.
Skies clear from southwest to northeast Monday as a strengthening storm moves from the coast of Maine into New Brunswick Canada. Monday looks windy and cold with highs in the 20s north, to 30s south.

Tuesday looks fair and seasonable, highs near freezing.
A weak area of low pressure crosses New England with mostly light snow, and rain or snow at the south coast. A couple of inches possible. Followed by cold dry weather Thursday and Friday.
