Colder air is moving into New England on an active northwest wind Sunday, and the combination of the chilly air with an "upslope" wind - wind blowing up against the faces of our Northern mountains - will produce some rain and snow showers Sunday.
In fact, below is a representation of how much snow accumulation will fall, and while it's a fraction of an inch, the northern mountains of Vermont and Great North of New Hampshire should be able to coat summits...and, in Northern Coos County, even a brief sugar-coating is possible on grassy surfaces.
