High pressure has settled in across New England, bringing us fantastic weather. Spotty showers linger across Northern New England thanks to the low pressure system spinning to our north.
The International Space Station is visible at 9:08 p.m. and visible for four minutes as it flies from northwest to east southeast. Our weather cooperates will mostly clear skies and comfy temps.
That system to our north moves out by Tuesday and most of the day will be sunny across all the northeast. Tuesday evening a warm front moves in from southwest to northeast and stalls over Southern New England so we have scattered showers and storms in for Connecticut with spotty showers moving in overnight for Rhode Island and Massachusetts too.
The scattered rain and storm threat remains for Wednesday as the warm front lifts north. The cold front moves through Thursday, but the strength of the storms will depend on the frontal timing.
Our temperatures will warm gradually towards the 70s and low 80s by mid-week once the warm front moves through. Dewpoint temperatures increase with the southwesterly airflow Wednesday into Thursday and this means summer-like humidity. That humidity will be here only for a short time, however, as drier air returns Friday and we cool a bit to the low 70s.
Our weekend so far looks perfect for the Boston Pride Parade Saturday and all outdoor activities on Sunday. More 70s are expected for the remainder of our 10-day forecast.
