Beautiful Sunday; Remnants of Hurricane Barry Could Hit New England Midweek

The weekend started on a beautiful note, and it will end on a beautiful note with more sunshine on Sunday.

Temperatures will be in the 80s to near 90 degrees, and morning humidity will drop during the afternoon as a cold front swings through New England. That front may trigger a spot shower, downpour or storm, especially across the high terrain of northern New England.

Expect 60s to near 70 tonight with comfortable air, before more sun and low humidity on Monday. Temperatures will be in the 80s.

A warm front increases the humidity by Tuesday, and it stays above average with highs in the 80s to around 90. A spot storm is possible, especially in far northern New England.

There also may be a few isolated storms well north and west of Boston on Wednesday, as temperatures soar into the middle 90s in some cases, along with high humidity.

The remnants of Barry will arrive on Thursday into parts of early Friday, with downpours across much of New England.

Right now it looks like next weekend will dry out, and stay warm.
