We can't remember the last time we had back-to-back warm days with sunshine, and comfortable temperatures on a weekend.
A front that is bringing in even lower humidity air for our Saturday and Sunday has pushed just south of the region this morning.
High pressure from Canada pushes some delightful air Saturday with temperatures close to 80 degrees. The wind should be more from the west pushing warm air right down to the beach.
The ocean water temperature is still only around 60 degrees, but it will feel good on the toes at least.
The weather system we've been monitoring for this weekend is going to bring some cloudiness from Connecticut to Cape Cod, but the rain should stay offshore, it just dims the sun a little bit during the afternoon.
For Sunday, there's a little bit different weather, as the wind will be a little bit more from the east at the beach, only 5 to 15 mph, but will keep us a little cooler with the temperatures in the 60s at the shore and 70s inland.
The boundary between the low humidity air in New England and much more humid air across most of the rest of the nation should eventually come our way. But probably not until the middle of next week.

In fact there may be a push of even cooler air coming into parts of eastern in New England Monday into Tuesday. Perhaps even enough for a freeze in northern Maine early Tuesday. But by the middle of next week summer warmth should return, that is if it even leaves at all.
These are the longest days of the year, and the weather pattern is cooperating.
