There’s not a lot to talk about in the New England weather department today. It is a beautiful Saturday!

And for a change, we’re not starting off in the 30s or 40s for a low temperature. In fact, some spots didn’t even get below 60° last night. So this is a good launching pad to get us up to about 80° by two o'clock this afternoon.

There are a few fair weather clouds mixed in the sky, but for the most part it’s just sunshine and late summer warmth, and low humidity too.

There’s also very little pressure gradient, which means not too much wind. So with daytime heating of the land we may get a locally onshore breeze keeping the beaches in the 70s while we warm to the low 80s inland.

The high surf advisory is for the most part behind us now with the waves on the ocean diminishing rapidly. Low tide is this morning, high tide is late in the day so it does qualify as a very nice beach day.

Mostly clear and mild overnight tonight low temperature in the 50s to low 60s.

High pressure moves off to the south a little bit tomorrow, allowing for more of a breeze from the southwest. The air will be a little bit warmer with a high temperature in the middle 80s. About 85° for the patriots game, but a dew point in the low 50s makes for a beautiful afternoon.

The next front pushes toward us on Monday, just behind the eternal equinox that happens before the sunrise. We will have sunshine fading behind clouds and it will become windy in spots from the southwest, gusting past 25 mph, with the temperature again well into the 80s.

A few showers or a thunderstorm possible late Monday and overnight, followed by clearing on Tuesday and temperatures in the 70s in the middle of next week. But as we can see here in our First Alert 10-Day Forecast, next weekend may warm up again!
