Sunshine Slowly Returns This Weekend

Sunday is the weekend pick

After a gloomy start on Saturday, more and more sunshine continues to work out across New England. While a few spotty showers will continue to drift through today, these will not impact your plans in a meaningful way. Winds will be light, so a slight sea breeze will keep much of Eastern New England in the 60s and 70s. Farther inland, where sun pokes out first, expect highs in the 70s and 80s.

Overnight skies will keep clearing, but some patchy fog will develop as lows slip into the 50s and 60s.

Any early fog burns off tomorrow morning, allowing ample sunshine for the rest of the day. Highs will be in the 80s for most. There may be a spot shower over the mountains of Northern New England, but that’s about it. For most it will be a beautiful day.

Expect some more morning fog early on Monday, but that too will burn off to partly cloudy skies. We’ll watch a few more storms north and west of Boston in particular during the afternoon. Similar conditions are expected for Tuesday before we cruise closer to 90 by Wednesday.
