Earthquake Rumbles Near Plymouth, New Hampshire

A 1.5 magnitude earthquake rumbled Tuesday morning just two miles ESE of Plymouth, New Hampshire, according to USGS.

This happened at 7:49 a.m.

Earthquakes occur on faults within bedrock, usually miles deep, although some New England earthquakes occur at shallower depths, according to USGS.
