Humidity Making a Comeback This Week, Outside Chance of Thunder

We're starting off our week just right with a delightful Monday.

You can expect a ton of sunshine, low humidity and temperatures in the low to mid-80s. The highest peaks of New England will be slightly cooler in the 70s.

Tuesday, the heat and humidity will begin to return. Temperatures will reach the mid-to-upper 80s and you’ll notice that it will begin to feel a bit more muggy. Wednesday is going to be very hot and humid with temperatures in the low 90s. There is the outside chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Tropical Storm Barry will continue to lift northeast over the next several days. Some of the moisture that’s left from the storm will arrive to the region Thursday. Downpours are possible throughout the day. Humidity levels will be very high.

Most of the day Friday is looking drier. Showers and thunderstorms will move out and the afternoon will be mostly sunny, hot and humid.

Next weekend is also looking uncomfortably warm and humid. The end of the 10-day shows a little relief to the heat and humidity, but the longer range models are saying that’s temporary. Get ready for a big electrical bill – the A/C will be cranking.
