More Humidity and Heavy Rain To End Week

The Canadian wildfires will keep the smoke around, giving us vivid sunsets this evening. Our wind direction will be more south on Thursday, so the smoke will move away from us slowly.

We have a tad more humidity overnight with lows in the 60s and low 70s. There is a chance for some low stratus or fog to develop along the south coast tonight due to higher dewpoints.

More humidity takes over for Thursday and Friday, making it feel uncomfortable. Our highs will be in the low to mid-80s and possibly a tad warmer where we see more sunshine.

A warm front lifts north in the afternoon and will trigger a few showers and storms in northern New England while southern New England will be mostly dry.

The rain and storms will be more widespread overnight into Friday morning. We may see some localized flooding in the heavier showers with highs in the 80s and tropical humidity. The rain and storms will be more scattered in the afternoon, but we don't clear out until after sunset.

The weekend still looks on track to being a perfect summer one with highs in the upper 80s and a little less humid. A pop up storm chance may sneak in Sunday over the mountains. More heat builds in for next week with highs in the 80s to low 90s across the northeast and no major systems.
