Storms are rolling through some areas of New England Monday.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon across Southern New England.
Instability in the atmosphere, coupled with any breaks of sunshine, will be the main trigger for storms to fire.
The main concern with any of these thunderstorms will be very heavy rain with the potential for street flooding due to the fact that many storms are expected to be slow-moving.
A sea breeze is also expected to develop this afternoon, which may help to focus the area of the greatest threat of heavy rain and flooding.
As always, do not attempt to drive through any roadways that have become flooded.
