Patchy Fog, Drizzle Beginning Our Day

We start off with jacket weather again Thursday, sunrise temperatures in 40s and 50s with patchy fog and drizzle once again.

Thursday should be warmer, though, with highs popping into the 70s for many. We’ll have a mixture of sun and clouds during the day, with a spot afternoon or evening shower here or there as a cold front nears.

Behind the front, we turn cooler again Friday, under partly cloudy skies. A gusty north-northeast wind will keep highs locked in the 50s to near 60. The long holiday weekend looks quite nice though, with moderate temperatures.

We’ll be in the 60s both Saturday and Sunday, with a mild day in the 70s on Sunday. There may be an isolated mountain sprinkle on Sunday, but overall expect nice conditions to view the foliage.

Color is moderate in most of Northern New England right now, with low color spilling into Southern New England. The ocean will still be a bit rough into the weekend thanks to Hurricane Leslie sending waves our way. That storm is spinning over the Atlantic and is not a threat to land.

Next week will be similar in that we’ll have pops of mild days, with highs in the 70s, here and there.
