In just a few days time, much of the remaining snow in Southern New England will melt away. That, combined with beautiful sunshine on the way Saturday, means some golf courses are opening for the season.
Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge, Massachusetts will be one of those clubs.
The owner, Gordon Bliss, says all of Saturday’s tee times are booked, given the sunny and mild forecast.
He says work on the course will continue next week, particularly on the greens, to get the course into top shape.
Blissful Meadows was open for part of our warm stretch in January and February, but was forced the close as snow returned in March.
