We had a pleasant start to the work week with sunshine after a foggy Monday morning in spots. This evening we stay clear with seasonable temperatures in the 50s to 40S north. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s thanks to clouds thickening overnight and helping to keep some of our heat in.

Tuesday morning will stay dry, in terms of heavy rain. However, with a northeast wind we will see some drizzle develop especially along the coastline as temperatures stay in the 50s.

The scattered rain moves in around 5 p.m. for western New England and will spread in from west to east through the evening and night. Overnight Tuesday through Wednesday morning is when we could see 0.25” to 0.5” of rainfall across New England.

The rain departs from southwest to northeast late Wednesday morning and dry weather takes over for the afternoon. Highs reach the mid to upper 60s across southern New England with a westerly wind and full sunshine, while northern New England will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.

We stay breezy through Thursday with highs in the mid-60s and mostly sunny.

Friday into Saturday will bring another chance for rain as a cold front moves through. Our highs go from the low 60s Friday to the mid-50s on Saturday. Neither day will be a washout at this point, but it will be soggy at times. Some snow may fall across the mountains Saturday as colder air aloft quickly takes over.

Sunday will be drier with highs in the mid-50s. We stay seasonable through the rest of the 10-day with highs in the upper 50s next week.
